Después de experimentar con muchos chupetes, tetinas, mamilas, ocurrencias, etc. parece que al final se ha dado en el clavo: una bolsa para agua caliente y unas adaptaciones en el chupete, además de la genial ocurrencia de alguno, de calentarle la leche, han logrado que Pascuala no se tome -SE DEVORE- su leche en un dos por tres. Slurp, slurp, slurp y en un santiamén acaba con los 750 ml que se le están dando por toma. La sonda es historia.

Puntualita, cada dos horas, cuando se aproxima la hora de comer, se acerca a la plataforma. Anoche me tocó estar en el agua con ella, y llegó la hora de su bibi. Para hacer tiempo y hacerla ejercitar, al acercarse a la plataforma, la empujaba hacia atrás. Con ímpetu volvía una y otra vez, nadando requete-bien. Por fin llegó el biberón y se lo devoró al instante. Ha sido genial observarla terminárselo y después salir disparada, en un arranque de energía, a nadar a velocidad por todo el derredor de la alberca, para regresar a la plataforma, a ver si había un poco más...

After experimenting with many kinds of nipples, it seems like finally a solution that is working pretty good came out: a water-heat bag, with some modifications is being used as a bottle. That, along with the idea of warming up the milk before giving it to her has worked out neatly. Pascuala is drinking her milk faster than what will take you to count to ten. She is drinking 750 ml each two hours. So the tube is history.

Every two hours, she aproaches the platform, waiting for her bottle. Yesterday, I was in the water with her, when she aproached. To make time for the milk to get warmed, and make her exercise a bit, I was pushing her away from the plataform. She came back over and over again, swimming so good. Finally, the bottle came, and she ate it in a couple of slurps. Afterwards, with an excess of energy, she went swimming around the pool, really fast, and came back to the platform, looking for some more...




Alex Jr., Ricardo y David, los entrenadores de Cabo San Lucas, son los "nannys" nocturnos de Pascuala. Ellos pasan la noche completa con ella, vigilándola y cantándole canciones de cuna, jejeje. (Bromeando, chicos: ¡hacen una estupenda labor!)

Alex jr., Ricardo and David, are trainers from Cabo San Lucas, and Pascuala's night nannies. They spend the whole night watching her out, singing lullabies to her, jejeje. (Just joking: they do a great job, night by night!).
