Hoy Pascuala cumplió 10 días de haber sido rescatada. ¡10 días!!
Hoy recibió sus primeros aplausos. Nos los ha arrancado a todos los que ahí estábamos presentes al sorprendernos con una excelente vuelta y haber nadado, usando su cola y aletas, en línea recta, no recostada de lado, como suele hacerlo.
También, hoy comió con biberón: ¡Por fin!!
(Este logro se lo debemos a uno de los voluntarios que lo llamaremos D, porque quiso permanecer anónimo, cuando les explique porqué, seguramente lo entenderán). Eso sí, debemos reconocerle a D su gran creatividad y buen ingenio mexicano. Pascuala ha celebrado sus primeros 10 días, desde haber sido rescatada de una muerte segura, estrenando un biberón totalmente fuera de lo común, je je je. Ya les contaré más en otra entrada.
Por último, otra gran noticia es que mañana, a las once a.m. se le sacarán otras placas de Rayos X. Tenemos que darle las gracias al Radiólogo Juan Ceja, por donar su tiempo, trabajo, equipo y material, para ayudar a Pascuala. Si en este mundo todo se moviera con esa buena voluntad y solidaridad que caracteriza sólo a unos cuántos, ¡qué distinto sería! ¿no creen?
Today we celebrated 10 days since Pascuala was rescued. TEN DAYS!!
Today she received her first applauses, for her efforts. I can tell you, she surprised us all, when she turned and swam so neatly, in a straight line, using her tail and fins, not sideways like usually, that all we did, was react clapping at her.
The second thing that made us all cheer was that she finally ate from a bottle!
(This achievement was possible thanks to a volunteer, that used all his inventive and creatitvity and came up with an idea. He wants to stay anonimous, so we will call him D).
So our dear Pascuala celebrated her 10th day here, after being rescued of a certain death, with claps, and smiles, and using a bottle way out of common, ji ji ji. I'll tell more about this in other post
Another good news is that tomorrow, saturday, at eleven a.m. she will have some other X rays performed on her. We have to thank Radiologist Juan Ceja for donating his time, work, equipment and material to make this possible. Our world would be definitely a better place if everybody would act with this kind of support and solidarity, don't you think?

Jessica, thank you so much for your very informative updates. You have been extremely generous with you time, efforts and photos. Thank you also, to the countless volunteers who have dedicated so much of themselves to the efforts of saving Pascuala. There are many people around the world who are rallying for her survival and you all are in the midst of it. Thank you!
